Description of objectLocated in the coastal town of Petrčane, near Zadar, Villa Katarina offers spacious air-conditioned accommodation units with Wi-Fi. A spacious garden is equipped with a barbecue, table and chairs, prefect for enjoying an outdoor meal. A pebbly beach is just 10 metres from the property.Location of objectOur Villa Katarina is situated in the place called Petrcane which is distant only 10km from the nearest town of [ Zadar ].Petrcane is a small village whose existance dates back for 900 years, to the 12th century, when it was founded by two brothers, Petar (Peter), and Cane. Throughout the history the inhabitants were surviving mosty by fishing and growing grapevines and olives. Thirty years ago, tourism started to grow rapidly, and it reached its peak when the war hit our country in 1991, when there followed a short pause. But our Villa returned the tourists in Petrcane as soon as the war quieted a bit, and today Petrcane is a famous tourist destination for numerous foreign and Croatian guests. The nearness of the town of Zadar and a small historic town of Nin, as weel as four famous Croatian National Parks (Plitvice Lakes, [ Krka Falls ], Paklenica on the Velebit mountain and Kornati islands), give the oportunity for variety of daily trips. Villa Katarina is a family villa built in the year of 1991, with its own beach in front of the house. We offer the accomodation in 3 apartments (A1, A2, A3), 2 double rooms (S1, S2), and one Bungalow separated from the house, which is very popular for tourists.
