Description of objectGround floor apartment of 70 m2 , consisting of one double bedroom,spacious living room tv room with one single bed and a double sofa bed, one bathroom with shower, fully-ecquiped kitchen… this apartment belongs to a three storey estate with own garden, located in a small village at Mt. Pelion near Portaria village, at half an hour distance from the Mount\'s SKI Resort as well as 20 minutes distance from the town/port of Volos and the closest sea. From the port of Volos one can visit (at two to four hours distance) the islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonnisos. Sailing trips can be arranged for short or longer distances from the port of Volos by own sailing boats and can arrange car rentals. Horse riding excursions as well can be arranged. Many signed walking paths begin from the proximity of the house and one can even walk to the SKI resort. The house has its own garden (500 sq. meters) with BBQ facility and enjoys privacy. The house is protected by fence and iron gates in the garden. The whole house flooring, the roof and part of the garden are covered by the most famous Pelion rocks that are engraved with fossils of ancient fauna. The house is centrally heated and has a private road with own parking area. With special arrangements you can have high speed internet. N.B. In case of a large family or friends, under special arrangement, the whole house (3 floors )could be rented. It comprises 2 double bedrooms (one twin and one double) and a single sofa, with one bathroom with shower, on the second floor and the first floor, which comprises the main sitting area, with two huge couches (sleeping one person each) with fireplace, central heating, TV and an open plan kitchen and dining room. Additionally, a huge veranda (25 sq. meters) is located on the second floor, traditional, with wooden roof ideal for dinners and even for sleeping bags. It has a stunning view to the town and port of Volos and the surrounding mountain. The whole house is fully traditional and has specially designed wooden windows and doors.
Location of objectKatichori is a small village at approximately 12km away from Volos in the mountain (500m high) having a stunning view to the whole town and port of Volos. It has 2 traditional taverns, and a bar. There is a local hotel and one can have sauna and massage without being a resident of the hotel. For more touristic shops and more taverns, Portaria is at 10 minutes walk from the village from walking paths and 5 minutes away by car.
