Casa Sirena is our holiday home on Sicily near the medieval town of Cefalu.
The house is situated on a mountain and has a stupendous panoramic view on the surroundings of Cefalu, the coast and the Mediterranean Sea that is highly appreciated by our guests.
The house has great outside kitchen on the large terrace in front of the house. In summer life on Sicily is lived outside so also the cooking and enjoying your meals. Furthermore the house has a living, a big bedroom, a small inside kitchen and an extra toilet. In the living there is a sofa that can be turned into an extra double bed.
In front of the house there is a big orchard with a big variety of fruit and olive trees. The tranquillity in the area is overwhelming.
Due to its central position Cefalu is the perfect base from which the many sights on the island can be visited easily.

The house is situated on the edge of the national park ‘Parco delle Madonie’, a vast and untouched mountain area with a lot of possibilities for hiking and to enjoy nature or for a small trip by car. Sun, sea and vast sandy beaches can be found in and around Cefalu. For the children there is a tropical waterpark in the neighbourhood.

Cefalu is a lovely small medieval town situated on the north coast of Sicily about 80 kilometres east of Palermo. Characteristic for the town is the rock, 'la Rocca di Cefalu'. On the top of the rock you will find the small 'Temple of Diana' dating back to ancient times.
In the centre of the city you will find the impressive cathedral dating back from 1200 with a number of very beautiful and well preserved mosaics. In front of the cathedral there is a big square with a number of cosy terraces. In the bay of Cefalu, but also in the direct surroundings there are long beautiful sandy beaches, something that is not obvious in the Mediterranean. The water is crystal clear so bring your snorkel set.
