Description of objectThe LeFRITZ is located above the village centre at an altitude of 3.937 ft and is oriented southwards.The panoramic view over the volcanic cones is gorgeous and stunning in its daily varying diversity. Our house offers 4 guest apartements (345 to 420 sqft) for 2 to 4 persons each. All of them offer a comfy living/dining area with wood-burning fireplace inserts, a small kitchen, a sleeping loft, a private bathroom. Weather permitting you may relax on the green, in the swimming pool or the heated whirlpool. Unwinding yourself next to the crackling fire in your own wood-burning fireplace will even turn a day of bad weather into a snugly holiday experience. Location of objectThe unique volcanic landscape of the Velay invites you for hiking, MTB and paragliding. To water sports enthusiasts the rivers and lakes offer many activities. Le Puy-en-Velay and many other towns mainly attract art and culture lovers. In winter you may explore the region by cross-country skiing and / or snowshoeing.The Meygal ski hut (with rental) is only 1.2mls away from LeFRITZ.Town: France, Zentralmassiv, QueyrièresThe centre of Queyrières is dominated by a rock of congealed basalt tubes, the core of a formerly big volcano. It represents the villages landmark apparent from far away.The community of Queyrières consists of several little hamlets with wonderful views over the Velay-valley - altogether 320-some inhabitants, who are scattered over 5.4 square miles in the formerly gigantic vulcan pit. Because of its exposed location at an altitude of approx. 3116 - 4265 ft the climate is still comfortable even in in hot summers. The winters are frosty but not extremely cold and allow for different winter sports like tobogganning, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in situ or in the mountains of the Meygal.
