Description of object

Sea view cottage. Rowing boat with 4 hp motor + canoe included. 30 meters to the sea and 70 m to pier/swim. Wi-Fi. Dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator/freezer, floor heating in bathroom/shower. Water toilet.

Most of the cottage has 3 meters from floor to ceiling. The cottage has a living room and kitchen/dining area. From here there is an extra door to the terrace (18 m2)
overlooking the sea. Outdoor dining furniture as well as sun chairs. There is a barbecue for when you want to grill outside.

Bedroom with high standard beds: 2 single built in bunk beds (200x90 cm each) + 1 double bed (200x160 cm). All are new spring beds. Maximum occupancy 2+2 people (4 in bedroom or 2 in bedroom and 2 in living room in a new high quality bed sofa 160x200 cm).

Hallway with built in cabinets for clothes. New bathroom (8 m2) with shower, floor heating, washing machine and water toilet. The photos in this presentation are from 2018.

Electricity, water, sheets, towels and departure cleaning incl in rent. The garden borders a meadow. Private parking next to house. WiFi (unlimited GB).

The TV has a DVD player as well as over 300 channels from 3 satellites: Viasat, Astra and Hot Bird. Channels in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish etc. Many movie channels, Disney Channel, EuroSport and EuroSport2, Animal Planet, Cartoon Network, National Geographic etc.

Please note: Minimum stay is 4 days, except for June, July and August. These three summer months we only rent by the week with Saturday as change over day.

No pets please. No smoking in cottage.

TIPS ON GETTING TO US:
Low fare airline Norwegian flies to Stockholm Arlanda Airport located 65 km from cottage (this is Swedens largest airport). Most of the major international car rental firms are found here. You may also go by bus from Arlanda to the cottage (you change bus in Norrtälje to Hysingsvik).

Ryan Air flies to Stockholm Skavsta Airport located 2 hours drive from cottage. This airport has a few of the international car rental firms. It is quite possible to take public transportation from Skavsta to the cottage (bus to central Stockholm, subway to Tekniska Högskolan, bus to Norrtälje, bus to Hysingsvik).

Location of object

Located in Roslagen in a very nice part of the Stockholm archipelago. Only 30 meters from cottage to the Baltic Sea. About 70 meters to small pier where you can swim. Lots of islands nearby, including beautiful Ängsö National Park.

Easy access to lots of uninhabited archipelago islands were you may explore, fish, bring picnics etc. Good fishing area (no licence required – fish from pier and
boat with rods/lures provided by us). Rowing boat with new 4 hp motor + family size canoe for 2-4 persons included. Beautiful nearby areas for forest walks.

Calm area. The property where the cottage is located was originally developed in 1911. The surroundings are a genuine small archipelago village.

Within 30 min drive: At least three 18-hole golf courses, horse-back riding, museums, living viking village, Furusund (Astrid Lindgrens summer home). Day trips to the Finish island Åland by ferry located 20 min from Cottage (Viking Line).

Driving distances: Stockholm city center 60 min, Norrtälje 15 min, Penningby Castle 5 min, Furusund 20 min, Vaxholm 50 min, Stockholm Arlanda Airport 55 min, Uppsala 70 min, Skavsta Airport (Ryan Air) 120 min.

Hysingsvik (location of cottage) is a living archipelago village on the mainland with about 100 inhabitants. In the costal town of Norrtalje, 15 min by bus/car from cottage and a popular resort among Stockholm locals, you find lots of stores, restaurants, super markets, banks, post office, movie theatre, museums etc. Norrtalje/Stockholm bus stop is 350 meters from cottage.
