Description of objectMy apartment is located in a southeastern area of Rome called Numidio Quadrato, a name you may have recongised on the Metro A map if you’ve already visited Rome. The apartment is on the ground floor. There are plenty of interesting things to see in the area too, including the Parco degli Acquedotti, Golf Club Circolo del Golf L'Acquasanta and Cinecittà, where many movies are still being produced. The 1951 classic Ben Hur was shot there. More recently, Gangs of New York and The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou where shot here.
A 15 minute ride on the Metro and you’re in the heart of Rome.
The metro stop Porta Furba (Line A) is a 2 minute walk from the apartment. From there it’s a 15 minute ride to the Spanish Steps. Termini train station is a few stops before that.
If you’re driving you can easily get to the centre of Rome by following the Tuscolana road. The same road in the opposite direction will bring you to a charming town called Frascati, which is famous for its wine.
Location of objectOne of the main assets of the property is that it is right at an A-line Metro stop (Porta Furba). The A-line Metro was built to connect all the main tourist attractions, from the Old Appian Way to the Vatican, so our apartment combines the advantages of an affordable price with easy access to the historical centre. All the major sights can be reached in a few minutes. Buses also widely available. Supermarket opposite and a great mix of shops, banks, internet cafés, restaurants, pubs, pizzerias all in close proximity. The adjacent Via Tuscolana or Appia Nuova is one of Rome's best shopping areas. Nature lovers might want to visit the Valle della Caffarella park (part of the Appia Antica Regional Park), just a short walk away from the apartment. For more details see: www.parcoappiaantica.it/en. Near the apartment there is BLANCO URBAN SPA with a good Hammam. www.blancospa.it.
