Location of object

WINTER, this region provides Northern Europe´s largest alpine facilities with perfect snow conditions. The Sälen Mountain region has it all - hundreds of ski lifts and pists.

Excellent cross country skiing is just around the corner, offering beautiful views in well prepared tracks. Here you have a breathtaking view over snow covered peaks and the valley of the meandering river Västerdalälven. Sälen is the starting point of the world famous 90 km skiing race VASALOPPET.

Other activities are dog sleighs, winter fishing and snow mobile touring.

SUMMER, this region is one of Scandinavia´s foremost tourist districts, offering numerous summer activities. Fishing, hiking, horse riding in fantastic terrain.
