The appartment is accessible through separate doorway on a patio with garden furniture and awning. Furthermore, a carport and a fitness room belong to the appartment. Our house is located in the midst of the Burgwald forest, between Marburg and Frankenberg. The Burgwald is the biggest contiguous forest in Hesse. The university town of Marburg with it's stunning castle, the gothic imposing St. Elizabeth cathedral and an historic old town is only 13 km away. A tour of Marburg opens up windows to an impressive history, which was coined among others by such illustrous citizens as the Brothers Grimm and Martin Luther as well as Nobel prize winner Emil von Behring. The area surrounding Marburg - regardless whether you discover it on foot, bike or by car - offers an interesting history, memorable timber house buildings as well as traditional garb, vivid traditions and customs of past and present times.
