Location of objectKo¨iarny briezok is a part of Slovak Paradise and a recreation-centre with private cottages near Spi¨ska Nova Ves. From there you can start the hikes to the gorges of Slovak Paradise and sightseeing trips to historical relicts of Spi¨, to the famous Ice Cave in Dob¨ina, or the open-air thermal swimming pool in Vrbov.
Town: Slovakia, Smizany / Spisska Nova Ves, SmizanyNational Park Slovak Paradise (Slovenský raj) is one of the most beautiful Central-European national parks. It is 20 km2 big, located between the towns Spi¨ska Nova Ves and Poprad. The park is well known for it's ravines and canyons connected together by ladders and footboards, there are also very many caves and waterfalls. Rock Climbing and glacier climbing are permitted in the designated areas. There are many ski-areas: Cingov, Plejsy-Krompachy, Hnilcik, Mlynky-Dedinky etc. in Slovak Paradise National Park. In the north are the High Tatras mountains. Slovak Paradise attract with its natural beauties lots of tourists and lovers of nature. The Spis- region is also rich on cultural and historical monuments (some of them a part of the world heritage acknowledged by the UNESCO) – for example Spi¨sky hrad (Spis-Castle).
