Description of objectRent apartment in Via San Filippo of Cori - ½ hours from Rome and delicious beachCori is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves at the top of the town house situated in highly mountainous ago. Breathtaking views where the sun reflected in the mean sea-waves, 20 km away, and only 50 km to Rome. Large 80 m2 roof terrace and balcony. Living room and kitchen in modern Italian interior as a young Italian architect had designed for himself. The bathroom has a nice jacuzzi. Central heating. www.cori.dk shows 400 pages of info on the whole of Italy. Location of objectThe house is 80 m2 and with 40 m2 terrace and a balcony. Inside you immediately will noticed the window on the opposite side, which is - not a painting, but like a three-dimensional postcard view, which is spreading more and more the closer you come to the window. This space is combined living room and kitchen in modern Italian interior as a young Italian architect had designed for himself.But look into the bathroom. At a matt black granite floor is a nice Jacuzzi, whirlpool or what this dream of a bubble wellness is called. One of the handles are a hand shower, for a quick wash .. The white sink is located under a marvel of a faceted mirror with glass decorations at the corners. Behind a Venetian blind is the prospect that you can enjoy from the whirlpool. The kitchen is elegant with a real cast iron cook stove with gas, and the sink is located behind the window so that mountain views can be enjoyed while the vegetables are cleaned. A large refrigerator / freezer is integrated into the kitchen elements. The floor is pale gray stone, and you will find an old white painted decorative corner fireplace too. If you arrive in the slightly cooler period the house is central heated. There is also a washing machine. It is Wonderful to sit in the two delicious Axa Designer sofas with removable fabric by the coffee table with a glass of cold white wine and enjoy the view – or in the pitch-black night, the valley is like a star quilt. A props night - the Cori nights are so black, and condensed that you can sit on the terrace and feel the darkness. Indescribably beautiful. The ceiling in the living room is recessed around the rooms walls, and star spots gives an elegant lighting throughout. Along one wall sculptural staircase leads to the first floor. Apart from the wall is an Italian dining table and four chairs – 6 if you have guests for dinner .. Also here is a view of the landscape from room 3 windows. Upstairs you will find two large bedrooms. One of them has double doors leading out to the balcony and the view can also be enjoyed from the room east facing window. The second bedroom has two windows where the south-facing reiterates the illusion of gliding across the mountain. The level is 40 m2, so both rooms are large and spacious, and two extra beds can be put up. A narrow spiral staircase, like a big screw goes to the roof. Well now you are out on the rooftop terrace, located throughout the house extensively. Up here you are now not just in a glider - you stand out on the wing and look down and out over the landscape. The mountains and the Mediterranean Sea 20 km away stands as a narrow fringe in the heat. Some days the island Isola della Ponza can be seen, with two other islands on the side, clearly out in the ocean, and the cape of San Felice Circeo - where Ulysses met the sorceress - is like an extra island. The sun roars down, but sitting under the Pavilion, and the indispensable cool wine, any pain or concern seems indifferent, swept away by the unique spectacle you are in the middle of. www.cori.dk shows our houses - plus 400 pages of info on the area between Rome and Naples. You looks up at a dizzying prospect, and in the top of the town lies an old Hercules temple. You are almost 400 meters above sea level, quite highly as in the bow of an ocean steamer. There are also windows to the east, where the mountain Monte Lupone rises 1378 meters up. In 2005 we fell for this beautiful and delicious decorated house, which we immediately bought for our daughter, who lives in California with a Roman. Of course it’s far from the U.S. to Italy, so we hire out the house when we don’t use it.Cori is on a mountain top, the back screen of the higher mountains and the sea is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves in a beautiful area. 20 km away the sun mirrows in the Mediterranean waves, washing onto the white sandy beach - and only 50 km away you find the Eternal City, Rome. There has been a city at this point for 2800 years, therefore Cori is older than Rome, and the city is today well-preserved medieval true with many remains from Roman times. For each step we take along the cobbled streets, open up new scenic motifs. The house is on the top of the town near the big square Piazza Signina from which you go a little up the street into the oldest part of town, and then abaut 100 meters, you will find a small street, a small alley. It is extremely charming to wander down the cobblestone stairs in the dark under the arches, and suddenly be standing in the light of a small space from which the house rises. On a high, narrow building is a marble plate with the number 22, and a marble-covered staircase leads up to the door.
