Description of objectAt the front of the property there is a small garden and terrace with table and chairs. This area is great to watch the sunset.The entrance is through the kitchen/diner. Here you will find a fully fitted kitchen and dining area. Through the double french doors you will find a cosy living room with a wood burner, bed settee, Sky UK TV, books and games. Down the hall way there is a small closet room which comprises of a toilet, wash basin and a washing machine. At the end of the hall there is a large double bedroom with an en-suite; which leads out onto a private terraced area which is furnished with loungers, table and chairs and a bar-b-q. All towels and sheets are included. Please state when booking if you prefer feather or fibre pillows, duvets or blankets. There are no hidden charges, the electric, gas and logs for the wood stove are included. Location of objectVaraignes is situated on the Dordogne/Charente border. This gives the holiday maker the best of both worlds.There are numerous chateaux in the area, which are open to the public in the months of summer. This area is famous for its sunflowers, foie gras, forest timber, Bordeaux wines and cognac. Town: France, Dordogne, VaraignesVaraigne is the turkey capital of France where people from all over the world gather on the 11th Nov each year to see the men in traditional dress drive the turkeys to the village square. There is is a magnificent chateau dating from 13th and 16th centuries and a superb restaurant.
