Description of objectThis property was renovated in 2006 and now has 3 self contained en suite double bedrooms leading out onto a small enclosed courtyard. Above these bedrooms is a large sitting room which leads out onto an extensive south facing veranda which attracts the sun from sunrise till sunset. Below the Veranda is a concrete built and tiled swimming pool which is fully serviced on a weekly basis with a small area for sun lounges. Walking back throught the courtyard you will gain entry to the kitchen / dining area which is a wonderfully cool haven in the mid-day heat. Above the kitchen is a further 2 double bedrooms with a shared bathroom, and an ante room. This house is enclosed within its own walls and very safe for children.
Location of objectNestled within a small enclave of a dozen houses or so Vale do Cordeiro lies in a tranquil valley surrounded by pine and eucalyptus trees. 2 mins off the Arganil to Gois road and 5 mins from thr town of Arganil. There are numerous villages dotted around the valley each with their own unique character and mandatory cafe in which you can join the locals at siesta time or later in the evenings when they become the hub of village life. There are many safe hill and forest walks,along with excellent fishing in the many rivers that flow through the Berra valley and you are never far away from parks with natural lakes and manmade beaches in which all the family can indulge in, that is if you get bored with the pool at your house!
Town: Portugal, Arganil, ArganilSituated in and surrounded by a host of tiny villages and beautiful forest walks you are only 5 mins drive to the town of Arganil which boasts many boutique shops nestled in wonderfully cobbled pedestrian streets. There you will also find banks, hospital, theatre, and large supermarkets including a branch of Lidl. There are many restaurants of high quality and very reasonable prices and if you want i\\\'ll show you an absolute gem! The city of Coimbra is 30 mins drive from Arganil, a stunning city by any standards. Small and compact but beautiful with a number of high quality shopping plazas with high street names and all the favourite fast food chains. This city was once the capital of Portugal and has a world renowned university and research hospital with breathtaking architecture. The west coast of Portugal with it\\\'s pristine beaches is also just a 30 min drive from Arganil in the same general direction as Coimbra.
