Rental Price590 Euro per object per weekDescription of objectLa Casetta del Borgo is on the ground floor, has a private garden of 60sqm, furnished with umbrella, table and chairs so you can make breakfast, lunch and dinner in our garden whenever you want.La Casetta del Borgo is a two-room apartment, has a kitchen with sofa bed, a double bedroom and bathroom with shower and bidet. The kitchen incorporates kitchen stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle. It's furnished with a large sofabed and TV DTT. It's present a heating system for the autumn/winter season. The finishes are Tuscan tradition typical, such as wooden beams, terracotta tiles on the floor, fixtures in wood, stone facings. Our holiday home is placed in Resort Borgo la Fornace, a little village with Restaurant, SPA, swimming pools, parking, Tennis and children's playground. The pool are free access for our guests. At reception it's possible book organized tours to the nearby cities of art and rent mountain bikes. In the Restaurant and SPA, like guest of La Casetta, you can have a 10% discount. At morning it's even possible make a breakfast buffet in the Restaurant's Hall. It's available Free WiFi Internet Access. Near Borgo la Fornace, there are many locations to riding horses and a 18-hole golf course in Castelfalfi, ten minutes from us. Location of objectCasetta del Borgo location is in the heart of Tuscany, only ten minutes from San Gimignano, 30 minutes from Volterra, 1 hour from Siena Florence and Pisa, 1hour 20 minutes from Lucca. Also is 1 hour from Chianti and the vineyards of Brunello di Montalcino. Near Pienza and Montepulciano.Few minutes from Casetta del Borgo is the Shrine of Montignoso, destination of many pilgrims devoted to Our Lady of Fatima. Perfect to relax in the countryside and to visit Tuscany. Town: Italy, San Gimignano, San GimignanoSan Gimignano, the town declared by UNESCO to be part of the World’s Architectural Heritage.San Gimignano is best known for its tall towers. In the middle ages, this city boasted 72 towers, and now 15 remain – to see what it looked like back then, there’s even a new museum with a scale model of the city (San Gimignano 1300). These towers were private fortified homes which were necessary for people to lock themselves up inside and retreat to the top during political insurgence. Other Tuscan towns and cities, including Florence, previously had a lot of tower homes, so this town gives us a sense of what that would have looked like. The way we see San Gimignano today remains a good reflection of its medieval form, with art from the 14th and 15th centuries in the Sienese and Florentine styles.
