Description of objectThe villa accommodates 6 people with comfort in 3 double bedrooms.It is newly built so it has all modern conveniences but it has a very traditional Spanish style and feel which, together with its position close to the historic white-walled town of Montefrio, offer visitors a true Spanish holiday. Cortijo Los Arrendajos enjoys a stunning situation and looks over olive groves and farmland towards distant mountains. It faces south so visitors can enjoy sun by the pool all day long or there are ample shaded areas for enjoying mealtimes around the barbecue.The villa is superbly equipped (dishwasher, satellite TV, DVD,freezers,washing machine, hairdryer,microwave, etc) so that visitors (and the owners!) can really make the most of their holiday.
Location of objectThe villa is approximately 15 minutes drive from Montefrio and 20 minutes from Algarinejo. It is at the end of its own track and the nearest neighbours are 800m away. This offers perfect privacy and seclusion without the feeling of being isolated. In total there are 3.5 acres of land with the property but the area close to the house has been fenced. The other side of the fence is a haven for wildlife, hares can often be seen and types of birds too numerous to mention. Local farmers often allow their horses and goats to graze on this land.
Town: Spain, Granada, MontefrioCotijo Los Arrendajos is close to the fascinating rural town of Montefrio which is famous throughout Spain for the dramatic setting of the hilltop church. The town has all the facilities which holiday makers could need.... a huge number of bars and restaurants, small supermarkets, banks, a Tourist Information office, butchers, bakers, fruit and veg shops etc.Approximately 1 hours drive away is Granada, a wonderful city to vist...the Alhambra Palace is a 'must see,' there is a wealth of cultural interest including the cathedral and art galleries, and for children a lovely water park and a new interactive Science Museum.Of course the weather and the cafe culture positively encourage people watching!
