The apartment buildings are ground plus 2 floors with a common terrace at the top which affords one a beautiful view of the sand dunes and palm trees on the Colva beach to the west and vast green fields, palm trees and other greenery behind the apartment to the east. The Palm Crest apartment complex is about a 100 meters off the main road leading to the Colva beach therefore one is spared the noise of the bustle and the traffic on the street. Being primarily a Holiday Home apartment complex, it has very few residents staying there at any given time, thus one can enjoy a peaceful, relatively noise free stay.
The self catering holiday apartment Palm Crest – ACS, is on the first floor and has a large living cum dinning room which is furnished with a sofa cum bed, a few chairs, a coffee table and a television in the living area and a dining table for four in the dinning area. During the season, one could also opt for eating in one of the dozens of beach shacks that line the beaches of Goa. These beach shacks offer a variety of delicious international and local cuisine and are great value for money.

Location of objectThe self catering holiday apartment Palm Crest – ACS is very conveniently located within a 5 minutes walk from the main Colva beach. Colva beach is the most popular beach in South Goa with both tourists as well as locals. A two minute walk from the apartment, in the opposite direction from the beach, (i.e. east) will bring you to the Church of Our Lady of Mercy in Colva, which is famous for its miracle statue of Menino Jesus.
Just outside the apartment complex the road leading to the beach is lined with shops selling groceries, daily provisions, clothes, souvenirs from all parts of India etc. One can find great bargains on handicrafts and hand made souvenirs like brassware, coconut carvings, shell work, silk shawls, carpets, jewelry, papier-mâché etc. all along the road leading to the beach.
Although the main Colva beach can get crowded at times, once on the beach, a 10 minute walk to the north or south will bring you to relatively less crowded and more peaceful stretches of beach, where one can choose to laze at the closest beach shack with a beer and fresh sea food, sun bathe, play a game of beach volleyball or football, indulge in some water sports such as jet skiing, paragliding and boat rides or do whatever one chooses. For the more adventurous, the approximately 20 km. long stretch of palm fringed, white sandy beach is a great opportunity for long walks, jogging or a bicycle ride, which will take you past many of the beautiful, quaint beach side villages along the coast of Goa. Getting off the beach at any point will allow you to explore one of these many villages and see the real beauty of the Goan country side.
Traveling around Goa from Colva is relatively easy as there are various modes of transport available on the main road right outside the Palm Crest apartment complex. One can choose from the local bus, taxis, auto rickshaws, motorcycle taxis, or one could choose to rent a bicycle or even a motorcycle (remember to carry your license). From Colva one can also take a guided tour on any one of the dozens of tour busses that take you to the regular, must see, tourist sites of Goa.
Town: India, Colva Beach, Colva BeachMargao is known as the commercial capital of Goa. It is probably the busiest city in Goa as far as business is concerned.
