Castelnaud is only 2km from Baynac with its imposing castle 300 ft above the village which runs along the river. Also only 2km from La Roq Gageac and 8km from Domme, a spectacular hilltop town overlooking the Dordogne Valley. La Fougasse is a lovely spot to spend a peaceful and relaxing holiday, or to use as a central base for exploring the surrounding area. Peaceful, but not isolated.
