Description of objectA hilltop farmhouse converted into 2 gites sharing a pool in a tiny hamlet of just 4 houses, sw of Angouleme in sunny, uncrowded Charente.beautiful views of unspoilt countryside, ideal for visits to Cognac & the Bordeaux vineyards! ACCOMMODATION Chez Luquet comprises two, self contained gites which can be rented together,sleeping 14 in 7 double bedrooms, or as separate gites, sleeping 8 & 6 respectively. LE JARDIN GITE. Sleeps 8 • Lounge: Open fireplace, beamed ceiling, pine dining table, 8 chairs, a 3 seater sofa, cupboards, chests and French windows opening onto a private side garden. • Kitchen: Fully equipped for 8, including a washing machine, fridge/freezer, gas cooker, microwave, electric kettle etc. • Washroom 1: has a bath with showermixer, hand basin, hot towel rail and W.C. • Washroom 2: Step in shower, hand basin, bidet, hot towel rail. • Second separate W.C. • Bedroom 1: Double bed. • Bedroom 2: 2 single beds. • Bedroom 3: 2 bunk beds. • Bedroom 4: (or Lounge 2) - large enough for 2 single beds, sofa, armchair, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a folding table tennis table. LE GRENIER Sleeps 6 in 3 double bedrooms A large airy, comfortably furnished, double aspect living room + sunny, s.w. facing balcony, massive beams, exposed stone & lots of character. Shower room has wc & hand basin + separate wc. Kitchen fully equipped for 6, incl. w/machine, fridge, freezer, gas cooker, m/wave, electric kettle etc. Outside, Le Grenier has its own private garden & pergola. + garden furniture & bbq + 2 communal grass terraces near fenced & gated 32ft x 16ft swimming pool. Each gite has a separate, grassed, sitting out area provided with garden furniture and barbecue as well as the two communal grass terraces near the fenced & gated 32ft x 16ft (9.75m x 4.88m) swimming pool. The more adventurous can explore the adjoining woods or steep hillside.
