Our home is on the edge of the village, local shops and facilities are within walking distance. Situated on the historic Route de Richard Coeur de Lion and just 10 minutes from all local chateaux and tourist routes. Lac St Mathieu is located 5 mins drive away with beach and beautiful walks.The area has a Temperate climate with warmest months in May June July August and September. The limousin area is famous for it's forests, porcelaine and beef. There are many local chateaux and historic places of interest. It is also an ideal base for exploring the whole of central France with the Loire Valley a couple of hours drive to the north-west and the wine famous Bordeaux area can be reached within a few hours.
