\"Heaven on earth\"
Staying in Villa Lumba-Lumba while on Bali is a true treat. The villa itself is lovely laid out in a small compound of 3 private villas, all with a private pool. It\'s situated at the end of a dirt track, as if you\'re travelling to the end of the world, straight on the ocean. The beach in front of the villa is dark stone so bring some reef shoes!
Inside the villa are 2 huge bedrooms (both with a/c), both with very comfy double beds, and private bathroom. In between a nicely arranged living room where you\'ll never be as the veranda is just perfect. Evenings with sunset, sounds of the ocean and a cooling fan is all you need.
The staff that comes with the villa is superb and make you enjoy your holiday! The sentence most heard during our week is \"Ibuh on holiday, we work, you don\'t\"!
Putu, the driver, made the long trip from Denpasar to Umeanyar a true day of enjoying the surroundings and learning more about Bali. We had lunch at a lovely restaurant, enjoyed some viewpoints and acquainted some local animals. In between he really made our kids laugh!
Iluh, the cook, prepares real Indonesian meals. You\'d really want to bring her home with you after enjoying some days of her skills! From breakfast (great Pisano goreng, pancakes, eggs to your liking) and lunch to a great dinner. Between all the cooking she\'s constantly cleaning, washing and ironing with a smile on her face.
Gede is your true butler and gardener. Showing your kids around in early morning, serving meals, arranging everything you might want to do, and make you feel at home.
Finally Made, the security guards, keeps you safe from sunset till sunrise.
We have made one important decision after our stay at this villa. Whenever we return to Bali, we will always stay at Villa Lumba-Lumba!
