We, Ina, Wim, Willem and Bas, a family of four from Holland, spent eight wonderful days in Villa Mbuyu. Edeltraud Stritzke, the German owner, had told us that the villa was a little paradise and that her staff would try their utmost to make us feel at home. Well, they did such a wonderful job that we were even feeling sorry that we had to go on safari afterwards!
Villa Mbuyu itself is simply wonderful. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden perfectly kept by master gardener Hamisi, fanatic supporter of Schalke \'04, who is permanently in the best of spirits. He brightens the day with his jocular remarks and joyful songs!
Mwero, the cook, has spoiled us day in day out with his exquisite breakfasts, meals and freshly blended juices. It will be hard to get used to our own modest cooking again!
And then there\'s lovely, ever-smiling Bibi, the housekeeper. She\'s a wonderful and warm person too, always there to fulfil any need her guests might have.
So to Bibi, Mwero and Hamisi we can only say: Asante sana!
For Villa Mbuyu the expression truly applies: hakuna matata!
