Staying at Indulgence Divine was an absolute treat. It is a stunningly converted 16th century townhouse with a wonderful combination of history and contemporary style, and a fabulous base from which to explore this lovely island.
The location is perfect, in Birgu, less than 10 minutes’ walk to the marina, which is a great place to wander around, and a 10 minute trip by water taxi or ferry across the harbour to Valletta. It is also within close walking distance of some excellent places to visit such as the Inquisitor’s Palace, the Malta at War Museum and the Maritime Museum.
Aldo and Joseph made us feel so welcome, and we very much appreciated being met at the airport.
We felt truly spoilt staying in this amazing house and would have no hesitation in highly recommending it.

Our first trip to Malta and we couldn\'t have picked a better apartment. The Birgu area is charming - just across the bay from valletta. The area has excellent restaurants including Osteria Ve almost within touching distance, with the best Mussels we\'ve ever tested. The apartment is perfect is every respect and the roof terrace the perfect place to unwind after a day sight-seeing. Aldo is a great host , and John, who picked us up from the airport ( a greatly appreciated luxury) was fantastic.
Two tips: 1. if you hire a car you can get a temporary parking permit for Birgu from local council office. Really useful. 2. If you want to visit the Hypogeum, and you should, book very early. If you fail to book on line, go to the Fine Art Museum in Valletta before 9.00AM as they have a few next day tickets.

Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure having you stay at Indulgence Divine. We have been trying out the various restaurants in Vittoriosa ourselves and we concur. There is a great choice and Osteria Ve (right opposite ID) is right there at the top along with Tal-Petut (also very close to ID). We hope to see you again soon.

Part of Paradise

Recently again we spent nearly two weeks of our holidays on the island of Malta. This time we chose Birgu for our stay for its quietness and the flair of history you breath all time and every step you do.

But the atmosphere you feel at Indulgence Divine sets the crown on top.

These were one of the best times we ever spent!
