by Sue Brymer on 22.06.2010 I cannot understand or believe Ms Lombas\'s review of this beautiful house, and I have to say that my party\'s experience of staying there (twice in the last 18 months) has been full of praise and pleasure, with the most efficient and gracious attention from the owner and her Cyprus-based manager. Surrounded by high stone walls, the privacy of the pool and house make it serene and perfect. Once you open the big wooden gate the view down the valley will make you catch your breath, changing its aspect all day until the sun sets in front of your eyes. On the edge of the village, but within skipping distance of the general shop and cafe, this house has everything that anybody could want and it is obvious that it has been restored and furnished with love. Try it! You\'ll never want to leave .... well, we didn\'t!
Advertiser's reply on 21.07.2010 We have recently returned from our wedding celebrations in Cyprus. It was a really memorable two weeks for us and to start the celebrations in the House of Achilles proved a perfect choice.
We enjoyed the ambiance and the solitude of the villa very much and you were quite right we did not need the air-conditioning! As you know we visit Cyprus fairly regularly so there is a good chance we will be contacting you again to rent the villa.
I hope you are having a good letting year |
