AGUADA FORT & LIGHTHOUSE
Only 2 kms away. Two lighthouses are located around the Aguada Fort. The larger lighthouse is presently in disuse but is a marvellous sight. The smaller but taller lighthouse using modern lights faces the sea. Lovely panaromic sights from above.
CANDOLIM BEACH & COCO BEACH
Candolim beach is an extension of Calangute beach, with numerous hotels, resorts, shacks and restaurants. At its end is a large headland with the Aguada Fort and Lighthouse. Coco beach is located in Nerul village just 2 kms away. Only beach in Goa where one can see land on the Horizon, which is part of the capital city, Panjim. Beach with shallow waters throught the year. On the northern side is the soothing Nerul river entering into the Arabian Sea. Quiet beach good for relaxation and solitude.
