The houses are 50/100m far from the beaches. 400m far away there is the camping Indie where to rent ships or bikes. Even if Banjole is a little village there are shops and restaurants, post office, market, and also a diving center. Banjole, a fishing village with a naturally protected port, was established in Roman times, and today has 700 residents. The settlement is located on a small peninsula where all lovers of the sea, sailing and fishing dream of living. The residents of Banjole are today closely tied to the sea, so that fresh fish are an everyday gift. Almost every house offers a room or two or a well-furnished apartment for tourists.

On the southern part of the Istrian peninsula, at the end of the Gulf of Pula, a town of antiquity, of parks, and of summer festivals dominates. Pula, the largest city and port in Istria, a communication economic and administrative center, is an attractive place to spend a holiday for many tourists, with some 2,350 hours of sunshine a year. The history of the town is etched in every stone, which is indicated by the large number of cultural historic monuments from almost all periods of its past, of which many are an integral part of the fabric of the city.
The best known and most valuable ancient monument is to be sure the Arena, the majestic colloseum dating from the second century, the sixth largest in the world. While strolling through Pula you will come across numerous monuments of Roman architecture; the Triumphal Arch of the Sergii from the 1 St century BC, The Amphitheatre-Arena, Hercules Gate and Twin Gates, the Temple of Augustus and small theatre in the town centre. A unique experience will be moments of relaxation in the main town square, which has managed to retain its role as the meeting place since the Augustian Age. The area of Pula is magnificent, with country stone houses, buildings of modern architecture, and the view to the culture of the mankind. As a tourist center, Pula offers a large number of various cultural and entertainment events throughout the year.
