The cottage comfortably sleeps 2 & 1 or 1 & 1 . It is on the first floor with cellars underneath. A typical galician kitchen and it's 'cocina economica' , a large lounge with a wood burner, a bed room with a large double bed and a small second bed room with a single bed. A bath room with shower (hot) under floor warming and downstairs access to a shaded garden with ample seating. We have central heating, so if it turns cold - no worries. The fridge lives in the 'old' smoking room which is upstairs beside the kitchen. The property has been renovated to high standards but the 'old charm' has been painstakingly preserved.

There is no main road nearby (use hybrid on the map). Total tranquility as well as a sometimes medivial feel surround you. We do have WiFi if you need to stay in contact, but neither radio nor TV. You are welcome to picnick on our fields or simply relax in your garden.

Our 'aldea' only has 7 lived in houses. Nearby Sober (4mi) has two super markets, a restaurant and bars. Further 5miles drop you into Monforte with about 20.000 inhabitants. here you find a wide slection of everything. It's easy to park and the pedestrianised areas invite for a strol interupted by taking refreshments in one of the various caffee's.
