A three bedroomed house owned by an English family and used for holidays for eight people. A traditional village house set in an acre of land with an orchard which includes apple, pear and peach trees. walking, bike riding, horse riding,fishing and sightseeing in the historic town opf Veliok Turnovo are all on offer nearby. It is an hour from skiing.

A small village near the regional centre of Pavlikeni. It has a range of shops, a post office and a town hall. Nestled amongst the rolling hills outside veliko turnovo gorna lipnitsa is typical of the traditional Bugarian farming vuillage. The nearest town is pavlikeni in which you will find an internat cafe and an international phone box allowing correspondeance with home. Pavlikeni is a modern european city with shops of all types and more than one supermarket. Veliko turnovo whick is situated 35 kilometres away from gorna lipnitsa in the mountains, is a large town where one can rent cars and visit many of the cities great tourist attractions. The tsarevets fortress stands on one of the highest peaks in Veliko turnova and was buitl to defend the former capital. The old town of veliko turnovo is also interesting as it provides an invaluable insight into Bulgarian life. The welcoming and friendly local people are happy to help with all manner of everyday propblems and are useful sources of local knowledge about restaurants and activities. A daytrip to the picturesque gorge of Nigovanka is worthwhile as the unspoilt area is beautiful. The large waterfalls, rapids and interesting water features mean that a walk through the gorge and along its topmost edges gives an awe inspiring sense of nature. The views from the gorge along it and down into it are amazing. Also to be found is a large cave which was once mined, although unlit the cave is fantastic because of its sheer size and beauty, it also provides welcome respite from the heat outside. The peculiarity of the Bulgarian customs and way of life will leave one having holidayed here with lasting memories.
