This lovely country home is located near the village of Guilianello di Cori in the last part of the Castelli Romani, on hills looking toward the sea. A part from Rome, in less than one hour by car you can reach some of the most beautiful sea areas of Italy such as Sabaudia, S. Felice Circeo,
Sperlonga, and Terracina. Much history was born in this area by evidence of ancient pictures of deer and the Phi-man in the caverns of Sezze and the discovery of the remains of the
"Homo Neheterdalensis" in Circeo. Many large villages developed in the area. You will want to see the fortress wall in Latium. The villages of Norma, Segni, Sezze, Priverno, Artena and Cori are ancient cities older than Rome. You will be able to revisit history in the remains of Roman roads, rural villas, cistern, walls, and much more. During the middle ages, to save themselves from the barbaric incursion, the inhabitants of this area took refuge on the hills or mountains. Many villages were born in this period, as the citadels Rocca Massima, Rocca Gorga, and the castles Artena, Sermoneta, and Giulianello were built. Not to be ignored are important
religious centers such as Anagni, Valvisciolo, and Fossanova. Most of this beautiful areas to visit are within an easy driving distance of this charming Italian country home. You will want to return again and again.

In a few minutes (10 - 20) you can get to some very interesting villages; as Cori - a village older than Rome, Sermoneta, with its famous castle of the Borgia family and the botanic gardens of Ninfa, one of the most beautiful of the world. It is a short distance to Frascati, Nemi and Castel Gandolfo (the summer residence of the Pope). In less than an hour you can reach some very beautiful sea places (as Sabaudia, San Felice Circeo, Terracina, and Sperlonga.
