Ed\'s house was even better than advertised. My family (four daughters, two spouses, and one granddaughter)felt like we were in paradise. Every morning we awoke to glorious sunrises over the ocean. Days were spent on a gorgeous, sandy beach, and evenings we fell asleep to the sound of the surf outside our bedroom window. Everyone had their own private bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. Ed, and the caretakers were warm, helpful, and accomadating. We took day excursions to gorgeous waterfalls and beaches as well as short walks to blowholes and cliffs. There\'s a private pool for late-night swims and our family enjoyed reading in the hammock on the veranda and our time together in the great room playing games. We hired a local woman to cook our evening meal and they were delicious. We highly recommend Samana and Villa Maryna. It was truly heaven on earth.
