This house in the mountains is the perfect headquarters for a stay on the island. Comfortably sized, with two bathrooms (really handy), a play room and a barbecue. The jacuzzi is a big plus, as is the location of this rural house on the green north side of the island - the perfect place to start a discovery of the island away from the tourists in the south. The whole valley where the house is situated is very quiet and has beautiful hikes through the woods and towards the volcanoes. Being halfway between the mountain tops and the seaside, I\'d say it\'s hard to find a better location. Very correct and polite hostess, clean and well-kept house. I\'d recommend it to anyone. We were four people and we rented the house for a week, the house is spacious, with great high ceilings, a lot of room and a huge terrace. We love the peace and the hiking. There are wals from the house and you could say that you are sitting in the base of the top of the island so perfect point to start the discovery...There is a small reserve 2 km away with the original laurisilva forest, small and cute. the coast is only 15 km away, the coast is lovely, no sandy beaches but great for a swimm, small fishing bars and local people.Great time.
