We stayed in this apartment for one week, and it was really very pleasant stay. It was a great choice.
The house is located in very charming area called Kuzguncuk, in the Üsküdar distric. Nearby İcadiye Caddesi which is the main street with many barbershops, tea houses, cafés, restaurants and art galleries. It is said that if you want to see a real mahalla (neighborhood), you should go to Kuzguncuk. The area is composed of old, small single-standing Ottoman wooden houses.
Yesim house was recently renovated, but in professional and proper way, by keeping authenticity of the house. The apartment itself is very tastefully decorated and well furnished. There are a fully equipped kitchen, sitting room and small toilet on the first floor, and bedroom and bathroom on the second floor. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Very lovely, stylish and comfortable!
Yesim, the owner of the house, was very friendly and helpful host. She provided us by the written material with all needed information about the city (city guides, maps…..). She has also offered her help in case we needed.
Whenever we come back to Istanbul, we would choose this apartment.
We definitely recommend to stay in this apartment.
