Apartament was just as described. Everything was ok. Shops, beach, restaurants are near. Beach was clean.

We enjoyed our stay. The appartment was comfortable and clean. During our stay the temperatures were constant above 30 celsius so we were happy with the airco. The owner managed a airport transfer for us. The driver appeared perfectly in time on arrival and at the depart. The complex is also clean. We saw cleaning activities every day (stairways/pool/pavements). The complex has an excellent pool with a separate area for children. We also enjoyed the beach opposite the complex. The beach is extensive and clean. There are plenty supermarkets and good restaurants nearby.
For public transport you have to take a walk to the Durres-Kavaje highway, about 800m, but there is no timetable. Having your own transport is better if you want to explore the region.
The road in Golem itself was unpaved and sometimes a bit muddy. It seems to get proper pavement next year.
The biggest disadvantage of our Golem/Albania stay was the bad urban waste management outside the complex which spoils the beautiful nature in Albania.

great spacious apartment in good location. a couple of things would have been useful, balcony furniture, thicker curtains or shutters as very bright and hot with early sunrise.
