Description of objectWellisford Manor Barn is a beautiful contemporary conversion ideal for reunions and get-togethers. Set in a peaceful rural Somerset valley, surrounded by rolling hills and abundant wildlife. It truly offers luxurious city-living in the countryside.The living room alone is over 80sqm. There is a large kitchen, ideal for cooking up a feast, and with our huge 14-seater dining table, plenty of room for everybody to eat together. There are 5 bedrooms, 3 limestone bathrooms and wet room. A media room with 4ft plasma screen, 8-seater hot tub, and secluded walled garden with large hot tub and trampoline. There is parking for approx 10 cars. Please see the website for prices and availability. Pets are welcome, including horses, in the Summer. (extra security deposit required) Location of objectGroup Accommodation Details:Catering: Catering can be arranged or we can fill the fridge from our selection of locally sourced produce. Kitchen: Large well equipped Aga kitchen with American fridge and an excellent range of equipment. Dining Room: Dining space with huge 14-seater dining table by the fireside. Sitting Room: The sitting room adjoins the dining room and has ample comfy seating in two areas. TV and Music Facilities: Flat screen in every bedroom, 4ft plasma in media room with DVD, CD player and PlayStation. Wifi available. Heating/Open Fires: 3 open fires in kitchen, sitting room, master bedroom and bedroom 2. Underfloor heating on entire ground floor. Bedrooms: Five large double bedrooms. One double bed, 4 bedrooms with twin beds that can be made up as doubles. 2 Sprung sofa beds and cots Linen: Quality linen bedding and towels provided. Maid service available. Bathrooms: 3 en-suite luxury bathrooms, 1 en-suite wet-room, guest WC and one large family bathroom. Disabled Facilities: We make every effort to welcome disabled guests. Two bedrooms with en-suite facilities are on the ground floor. Please call us for more information Children\\\'s Facilities: We have lots of toys, for all ages. A large games table, computer games, a large trampoline, a secure walled garden, and access to a shallow river. Outdoor Facilities: Private walled garden is ideal for summer parties, the large garden table seats 14. There is an 8-seater hot tub, trampoline and fishing in the river. Swimming Pool: We do not have a pool, but we have a very large hot tub which seats 8 and is nearly 1 metre deep. Ideal for stargazing as we have a real dark sky. Parking: Ample parking space is provided for several cars. (no camper vans without prior agreement). Telecom Facilities: Mobiles. Incoming calls and emergency only. Wifi and mobile access by prior agreement. Smoking: No smoking inside please. Pets: All pets are welcome by prior agreement. Extra security deposit required. Games Room: We use the large entrance hall as a games room. It has a large games table with roulette table, and other games. It is surrounded Nearest Town: Taunton is the County Town 15 minutes drive or Wellington which is a gourmet food town 5 minutes drive. Nearest Shop: Milverton stores has locals of local produce or Wellington has a Waitrose. Nearest Pub/Eatery: The Martlett in Langford Budville has an award winning chef or the popular Globe in Appley both walking distance, through the country lanes. Nearest Airport: Exeter Airport is 45 minutes drive or Bristol which is approx 1 hour drive door to door. Nearest Train Station: Taunton 20 minutes drive or Tiverton station which is 15 minutes. Nearest Bus: Langford Budville has a local bus but national coaches come to Taunton Town: Great Britain and Northern Ireland, devon/somerset, wellingtonWellisford Manor Barn is not in a town but is close to Milverton and Wellington. Both are beautiful historic towns, with period buildings and lots of history. There is a good selection of local, farm shops and supermarkets locally, together with gastro pubs and real country pubs.We are within easy reach of the Quantock and blackdown hills, and several National Trust houses including Knightshayes, Barrington, and Montacute.
