You can find the holiday home 'dijkhuisje de maretak' in Assenede, Meetjesland, Flanders, Belgium, close to the border with Holland. With beautiful and magnificent landscapes and ecological valuable nature reserves, the area of the polders is a unique paradise for walkers and bikers where one can find the necessary peace.
The cottage is nicely decorated and has all the necessary modern comfort. You have the use of a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a large bath.
The sleeping attic has a double bed, two single beds and enough room to put away your clothes.
In the livingroom, one of the cosy sofas can – if necessary -be turned into a comfortable double bed. Here you will also find an authentic stove, where you can warm your feet after a walk in nature, just like in the old days.
