Description of objectAccommodation for 2-7 people, including children Buganvilias is a rural farmhouse, sitting in 5 acres of private land in the heart of the beautiful Costa Vicentina Natural Park. Secluded and peaceful,it is still only 2km from the lovely beaches at Carvalhal and Alteirinhos. The place is cosy, sheltered from the sea winds by the thriving garden,filled with blossoming flowers and fragrant smells, make up most of the property. And the fantastic pergola,shaded by a anciant red Buganvilia. The house,is run by Isabel and her daughter Madalena, with care and attention,creating a warm and serene atmosphere of privacy,becoming a haven for a relaxing family vacation,a short break for stress,a romantic rendez-vous,or for a big goupe friends holiday. The house is also available during the pleasantly mild winter months. Enjoy a cosy night in with a book or movie by the antique wood stove, or take a stroll on the many neighbouring pathways and breathe in the crisp fresh air. Relax and come and enjoy the many benefits of Alentejo's countryside! '
Location of objectThese peaceful surroundings will allow you to take time to do relaxing activities like reading a good book or just enjoying a serene and calm atmosphere. If you are more of an adventurous type however, don´t forget to bring your binoculars along for a fascinating activity of bird watching. You will be able to smell fragrances of blossoming flowers and herbs such as thyme, lavender and rosemary aromas. On very warm days, the scenery is simply invigorating! Whether you are on the patio or on a terrace taking in the view, the calm atmosphere of the countryside will rejuvenate you. The area is teeming with nature and wildlife, including over 750 species of flora and more than 200 species of both sea and land birds.

Integrated in the wonderful Vicentina Coast and Sudoeste Alentejano Natural Park, the Zambujeira do Mar Beach is surrounded by high cliffs, from where one has an amazing panorama over the ocean.
The ocean tides are quite strong, with good conditions for the practice of surf and body board.
The beach is situated next to the centre of the lovely Zambujeira do Mar village, with a direct access.
Quite frequented during summer time, the region is nowadays famous for the Summer Festival, one of the most important and renowned in the Country, bringing to Zambujeira some of the most important names in the music industry.
