Description of objectTraditional Stone Beach 1-Bedroom Villas part of 'Porta del mar' complex. 'Porta del Mar' is a small family-run resort of 8 traditional stone beach villas(1 and 2-bedroom) for summer holidays with direct access to a sandy beach. The villas are self-catered and accommodate from 2-6 persons (one or two bedroom villas). Reception-Snack bar is available only for our guests, plus playground and numerous facilities (included in price) for your needs.The villas all form a horse shoe design, facing towards the sea and are traditionally and nicely decorated. They have spacious living rooms, large bedrooms with queen-size beds or twin single beds, all with solid, wooden ceilings and air-condition. Fully equipped kitchens include cooker, big fridge/freezer, wooden table that seats 4-6 and a full range of utensils. Their verandas are spacious and offer panoramic sea views. The villas are situated directly on a sandy, quiet beach and are surrounded by well kept and relaxing gardens. The beach is safe for children and the waters are clear, crystal and rather shallow. Everything you need lies within short walking distance from the villas (groceries, bakery, taverns). There are 4 similar 1-bedroom villas within the complex: 'Amphitrite', 'Erato', 'Pasithea' and 'Calypso'. 1-Bedroom villas are suitable for a couple or a family with up to 4 members (2 adults and 2 children). One bedroom Villas (50 m2, ground floor, suitable for 2-4 persons) include: Living room-kitchen with a big traditional couch (can sleep 2), a flat TFT/TV - DVD set and a window-door leading to the seafront veranda. One bedroom with Queen-size bed, air conditioned with a balcony door leading to the second veranda. One spacious bathroom with window, bath and shower. Both verandas are fully equipped with a table for eating-out at fresco, chairs, sun beds and sun-umbrellas: One veranda is facing the gardens and the other one provides panoramic both garden and sea views! Location of objectHow to get to our villas?First you Fly to Zakynthos(Zante) Island - Greece. PortadelMar-Traditional Beach Villas are just 17 Km from the airport. There's taxi service outside the airport at reasonable price (about 25 euros), but we can also organize your car rental delivered at the airport. The area of Ammoudi-Psarou Beach(where the villas are) is situated between the resorts of Amoudi and Tsilivi, on the North East coast of the island of Zakynthos and is just 12 km away from Zante town. Town: Greece, Ammoudi, ZakynthosOur family lives on the property and its members will: Welcome you and show you your villa on your arrival, provide you with detail information about the location, the island and its various activities or sites of interest, organize your rental car, if you so wish, with the best rates on the island, delivered at the airport or at your villa (car is not necessary unless you aim to explore the island). Serve you food and drinks at the residence snack bar on the beach-front garden, organize every so often BBQ or Pizza evenings in our clay oven (only for our guests).Other Activities: Horse riding, Snorkeling, Scuba diving, MTB, Flying with 4 seater cessna around Zante and Kefalonia, Water parks etc! INSIDE DETAILS: The bedroom is very comfortable with air condition and a large veranda facing towards the garden and the sea. Children would sleep in the living room area in a double sofa bed, very comfortable too. Next to the bedroom there's a spacious bathroom with bath and shower. At its other end a TV/DVD set is at your disposal. The bedroom is nicely and traditionally decorated. The high wooden ceilings and the hand made iron bed, combined with the strong, stone-built walls, create a magic atmosphere for your holiday. In a few words, the bedroom is equipped with: Feather pillows and orthopedic mattress, Spacious wardrobe, Mirror, Closet, Night table, 100% cotton towels in various sizes, Hairdryer, 21-inch satellite LCD-TV-DVD player, Spacious bathroom with marble surface and all necessary accessories.
