Location of objectLocated near Papenburg, between the joint communities Doerpen and Lathen, you will find the village Walchum on the Ems. The proximity to the Netherlands, with its beautiful provinces of Groningen and Drenthe rounds out the possibilities for wonderful trips and experiences.
The hunting lodge in Sögel Clemens is worth seeing. The Meyer shipyard in Papenburg is certainly a highlight. But many small 'diamonds' in the vicinity to be discovered, the 'paper world' in Dörpen or the many Houses and gardens of native communities. Come to the beautiful Emsland and enjoy a relaxing holiday!
Town: Germany, Emsland, WalchumOur cottage is centrally located but quiet in the park lake Eiken Walchum. A small lake about 100 m away invites one to a beach vacation. A non-swimmer area for children is separated. The lower part can be wonderful for driving with eg an inflatable boat and of course, be used to relax and swim. All around the sandy beach for sunbathing, building castles, or even walking around the lake one. A small cafe 'Seestübchen' offers of refreshments and meals ā la Card, while the miniature golf course invites you to play and relax, the children also use the adventure playground. Paved paths around the park even allows the roller-skating. A fishing pond is located next to the park, but there are dozens of ways, the fishing in the surrounding waters to pursue. The proximity to the Netherlands as very practical. But many attractions waiting to be discovered. E.g. the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, the hunting lodge in Sögel Clemens and much more.
