Description of objectWe're very proud of our gite which has a large double bedroom with a big wardrobe& plenty of storage space.
The lovely garden room has table/chairs, a double futon and an open fireplace with a TV/DVD player.
The light, airy bathroom has a sunken bath/shower, sink, loo, hair dryer & airing cupboard. The well-equipped kitchen was designed by a restaurateur.
You can see the spires of the medieval walled city of Carcasonne (a World Heritage Site) from the large & private sunny terrace whch has a bbq, loungers, parasol, table and chairs.
A cot and a child's carseat are available and there is parking for a (small) car.
Location of objectWe are in the friendly village of Villedubert and a 5min walk through vineyards takes you down to our canal lock where you can watch the boats pass (you have missed Rick Stein's Odyssey) We're right on the edge of the Minervois/Cabardes/Corbières wine districts and throughout the area wine tasters are always welcome.
