Description of objectLe Fresne offers large comfortable accommodation with a wealth of period features. The perfect place to relax, unwind and explore the delights of Normandy with your family or friends. Wine and dine on the secluded covered veranda overlooking the secluded floodlit pool or picnic under the trees in the orchard. A unique 17c stone farmhouse, lovingly refurbished to preserve its many period details, while bringing it into the 21st century. The kitchen/dining area has been designed to be open plan and sociable, with a large centre island and a farmhouse table to seat 14 people. It is fully fitted with all modern facilities including a dishwasher and a utility area houses an additional fridge freezer ensuring plenty of space for cool drinks. The lounge has a large original fireplace housing a log burner. There are three sofas for your comfort, satellite TV, video and a bookshelf and video library to suit all ages. There are 3 bath/shower rooms and 6 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 14 people. The private solar heated swimming pool is surrounded by a decked sunbathing terrace and is overlooked by a covered veranda which is ideal for outdoor dining. The pool is securely fenced with access from the veranda and garden by lockable gates. The garden is mainly laid to lawn and orchard. There is ample garden furniture and a large brick built barbeque. Within the grounds is a games room with a full size pool table.

We are only 2 miles from the beautiful protected Selune Valley where a dam has created the lake of Vezins, offering boating, fishing and many scenic walks. The countryside is pleasingly rural and unspoiled and there are good seaside facilities within easy reach.
