Las Tortugas has recently been renovated to provide accommodation for up to 10 people as a whole house (including two children under 12 on z-beds in the upstairs sitting room) or as two self-contained apartments each sleeping up to 4. It sits in a 2500m2 walled and gated plot with large areas of covered and uncovered terraces, garden and extensive parking. It is fully equipped and well decorated and has the benefit of two kitchens. Many of our guests find that the peace of the countryside is too seductive and do not even spend time exploring the local towns and beaches.

Las Tortugas enjoys and enviable quiet location, with no near neighbours (only two can be seen, both more than 300 metres away) with wonderful all round views, notably to the sea at Garrucha and the Sierra Cabrera mountains to the south. It is conveniently located just 3 kms from the E15 motorway.

The nearest town is Vera (6 kms) which is a traditional Spanish town with all facilities. The nearest beaches are at Garrucha and Mojacar, ten minutes' drive away. Mojacar has 17km of beaches, many of which have the coveted Blue Flag. There are many beach bars and restaurants but few night clubs - this is an area for relaxing and chilling out more than for night life. There are 3 golf courses within easy reach - one just 2km away.
