This romantic house on three floors with terrace is very near the beautiful Salute church in central Venice. It is extremely calm, looking on an enchanting and silent large garden. The terraces and the last floors give on the cupolas of the Salute church. The house was part of the ancient St. Gregory abbey as you can see from the antique fireplace and staircase. It is just five minutes from Saint Mark, the Guggenheim and the Accademia. Water taxis arrive just ten meters from the house and the Vaporetto station is just 50 m away.
In the house famous Hollywood actor Gary Cooper used to come and stay sometimes to visit a friend of his ,Memo Benassi, a famous Venetian actor who was living there.

The house has all comfort, air conditioning included, and although five minutes from St. Mark square it is not disturbed by mass tourism and any noise except from the bells of Salute church. There are plenty of nice bars and good restaurant nearby.
