Description of objectCasa da Escola is a beautiful, fully furnished property set in the centre of Portugal, between Tomar and Coimbra.Downstairs is a large living room followed by a large eat-in kitchen with fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances. On the first floor are 3 double bedrooms with also a smaller bed available for children. The master bedroom has views over the entire garden and vineyard. The bathroom is also located on the first floor including bath, separate shower, toilet, bidet and one large sink. In the neighbourhood are many typical Portuguese restaurants within a ¤10,- price-range where you can enjoy fabulous local wines and dishes. Nearby are several beautiful river beaches and for those who would like to taste some of Portugal's culture there are several fascinating cities like Tomar, Batalha, Alcobaça, Coimbra and Conimbriga also only at a short distance. The house is for rent from Saturday 16.00 until Saturday 10.00. Price from 11 April until 17 October is ¤ 450,- per week and from 17 October until 11 April ¤ 350,- per week. Both prices include bed linen, water, electricity and cleaning. For more information: www.huistehuurportugal.nl Location of object-The most famous cities and attractions nearby are Coimbra (an university city), Conimbriga (a roman settlement), Tomar (Convento do Cristo), Alcobaça (Monastery), Batalha (cathedral and monastery), etc. Vendas de Maria is set in a valley in between the hills Nexêbra and Saint Helen so there is plenty of nature to see where you can find some peace and quiet, beautiful mountains, rivers and lakes, a big variety of trees and plants and many characteristic Portuguese villages. Some spots that are definitely worth a visit are Dornes, Fragas and Foz de Alge Town: Portugal, Silver coast, Vendas de Maria - Maçãs de D. MariaCasa da escola is set in between Coimbra and Tomar in a little village called Vendas de Maria, in the municipality Alvaiázere.
