The casita has internet connection, television, radio, wood burner and a fully-equipped kitchen
Location of objectCasita Naranja is a cheerful and light holiday home situated on the estate of Casa Naranja in the village of Válor, in the western Alpujarra in Andalucía, South Spain. The house is approximately 70 metres from the main house, which guarantees your privacy: the casita (cottage) has stunning views towards the mountain ranges of the Contraviesa and Gádor and on a clear day you might even see a bit of the Mediterranean. Válor is a quiet, idyllic village with white-washed houses. Bars, restaurants and a supermarket are within short walking distance.
The casita was newly built in 2008 and is surrounded by olives, oranges and almonds. There is a small swimming pool which guests can use in the beautiful garden of the estate.
Town: Spain, Alpujarra, VálorVálor is a laid-back, friendly village with a lot of services. The surrounding area has many stunning walks. There are several signposted walking routes close to the village and for the experienced walker there is the attraction of the Sierra Nevada with its summits of nearly 3,500 metres (10,000 ft). Thanks to the high location of the house (900 metres, approximately 3000 ft) and the protection from the north by the Sierra Nevada, Válor is blessed with a nice mini climate, with a lot of sun in winter as well as in summer. In summer you can visit the public swimming pool, which is only two minutes from the casita. The Mediterranean is an hour’s drive and both Granada and Almeria can be visited in a daytrip.
