Description of objectThe holiday house (completed in 2008) inspires by its naturalness without sacrificing comfort. It is surrounded by a 3000 sqm large plot and offers ample space for local activities. The ground floor contains two garages. One of them is equipped (depending on the season) as an ski-room or summer-kitchen. Furthermore, there is a tool room on this floor. Die fully furnished living rooms (approximately 50 sqm) with balcony are on the 1st floor and offer 5 places to sleep.

Location of objectThe mountains around Sarajevo offer ideal skiing conditions. Most of them are over 2000m high and are considered safe snow field. The skiing infrastructure has been fully restored in recent years, new hotels and leisure facilities are built, so the number of visitors reaches every year a new record. This depends partly on the olympic atmosphere in this region, which is maintained to nowadays. Discounted rates (e.g. 10 Euro / ski-day pass in the season 2008/2009) do the rest, that the popularity of Sarajevo for winter holidays constantly increases.
The mountain Bjelasnica has the most demanding slopes, in which there are also numerous alternative offers for children and beginners. So most ski disciplines in the Olympic Games of Sarajevo 1984 took place here. The mountain is about 25 km away from Sarajevo and reachable by a well-developed highway.

Lifts (6), rental service (ski, snowboard, snowmobile), ski / snowboard schools, skating rink, nightski, hotels, restaurants, discos, numerous ski lodges, ample parking, etc.

The mountain Igman is located in the immediate vicinity of Bjelasnica (about 5 km). These two mountains are therefore counted as a joint ski area. On Igman there are a few choices for alpine skiing and snowboarding, but the infrastructure is especially designed for the nordic disciplines (cross country, biathlon, ski jumping).
The mountain Jahorina is about 40 km away from Sarajevo. The ski area offers over 20 km ski runs for alpine skiing and has 9 ski lifts and a baby lift. Other offers are comparable to Bjelasnica (see above).
Town: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sarajevo, TrnovoThe house Bijela Vrba (white willow) is on approximately 900m altitude and is located at the foot of the mountain Treskavica (altitude 2089m). It is 28 km from Sarajevo Airport away and achievable by a well-developed highway. The village Godinja is in the immediate vicinity. Furthermore the environment offers an idyllic view of the surrounding mountains as well as opportunities for small and large hiking trips. The joint ski area Bjelasnica / Igman can be reached in just 20 km on a direct path, so the busy connection between the resort and Sarajevo can be avoided. Along the way there are several mountain huts hosted, inviting you to linger. The neares supermarkets and other shops are in the town Trnovo (about 5km away).
