Description of objectKatrič is a detached renovated Slovenian farmhouse in a quiet village location within walking distance of the beautiful Soča river, nestled in the foothills of the Julian Alps.
Katrič has been lovingly restored over the last few years to offer comfortable living accommodation for up to 6 people. Located at the heart of the charming village of Kamno it is ideally located for any visitor who wishes to enjoy everything Slovenia and the Soča Valley has to offer. The house is only a 10 minute stroll to the river perfect for Fly Fishing - Hiking - Water Sports - Mountain Biking -Nature Trails - Historical and Cultural Heritage or enjoying a picnic by the riverside.
About the house:
The house has all the facilities you will need to make your stay a pleasant and comfortable experience, easily sleeping 4-6 people. Although by special request further arrangements can be made. On the ground floor is a kitchen/dining area with open plan space to the living room and digital TV. Also a downstairs toilet and boiler room for drying out any wet gear, there is also use of a washing machine. On the first floor is a double bedroom with beautiful country views, a single bedroom and large bathroom with large shower, bath and toilet. Access off this floor onto a large wooden balcony. The third floor consists of another double and single bed with its own en-suite bathroom and a further seating area. From here there are far reaching views of the valley down to Tolmin.
Throughout the house there are many character features like exposed wooden beams, a stone fireplace, original wooden floorboards and antique furniture creating a rustic and cosy living space. But with a modern kitchen and bathrooms you can enjoy the best of both worlds. The whole house has WIFI access perfect if you need to keep in touch with home or to check your e-mail if you cannot leave it behind!.
Outside is a lovely garden and seating area where you can enjoy dining outside and even a bbq. There is off road parking for 2 cars. Mountain bikes available on request for exploring the valley from the saddle.
Location of objectOur house is on the edge of the village of Kamno on the road to Krn. It is detached with parking for 2 cars. A secure outside garden area with bbq, seating area and large second floor balcony. Easy access from the road.
