Description of objectRosemary Cottage is a light and airy 4 bedroom cottage sleeping 8 people + cot. Perfect for a large family, two families sharing or a group of friends. Rosemary is on the Sherrill Farm Estate with superb leisure facilities for young and old in a beautiful and peaceful Corner of Devon close to the Cornish border.
The ground floor comprises a large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen space featuring a digital TV with Freeview, WiFi, music system, fridge-freezer, oven with 4-ring hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and other facilities to comfortably accommodate and cater for 8 people.
Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom with walk in wetroom and toilet, suitable for elderly family members.
Upstairs are 3 further bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 twin plus 2 bathrooms, 1 with bath and the other with a shower.
There is parking in the courtyard in front of the cottage, while to the rear is a south-facing patio and lawn overlooking the lakes. Outdoor furniture and a BBQ is included. Cots, highchairs and a stairgate are included in the price if required.
Sherrill Farm\\\\\\\'s leisure facilities are open all year round and include an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, games barn, fishing lakes, outdoor childrens play area and a tennis court. The use of all facilities is included within the rental price.
Location of objectSherrill Farm is located between Dartmoor and the Cornish border - and about 25 minute drive to the north and south coasts (so bring buckets spades and bodyboards). If you don’t plan to spend your entire holiday at Sherrill Farm, there are many attractions and places to discover within easy reach. The picturesque Tamar Valley dividing Devon and Cornwall, has many scenic and historical riverside villages such as Morewellham with the fascinating museum at Morwellham Quay with its underground railway , while to the east is the Dartmoor National Park with miles of wild unspoilt moorland to explore.
The area is ideal for those who enjoy cycling, fishing, horse riding, canoeing and walking. ‘Must See’ places to visit include The Eden Project, National Trust properties at Cotehele, Buckland Abbey and Lydford George with its White Lady Waterfall.
