Description of objectVilla Romanzeira is a detached property for 4 guests somewhat apart from the main house. Quinta Sol e Mar is a small, private residence with 3 apartments on the premises. In the grounds there is a 50m² swimming pool, a barbecue area, a beautiful orchard and well tended gardens with a variety of typical local trees, bushes and cacti. You can even pick your own oranges, tangerines, pomegranates and figs for personal use.Villa Romanzeira was opened in May 2010. It is set slightly apart from the northern part of the Quinta. It has a private entrance and a private covered carport. All around the house are tiled patios, so you can enjoy the sun or the shade at any time of the day. In addition, there are 2 large pergolas. The patios are bordered by beautiful fruit frees and bushes that bloom continually, scenting the air with blossom and fruit in the different seasons of the year. In between there is a small pretty place, which is excellent for "pétanque" games. Inside is a large main room which is divided into kitchen, lounge and entrance area. The living area with large windows offers a comfortable couch, a cosy fireplace, satellite TV, a wide desk in Indonesien style and a dining table. A bar separates this area from the kitchen, suitably equipped for gourmets who enjoy cooking to a high standard. Not only semi-professionals will feel at home in kitchen; the space underneath the sink and the hotplates has been left open so that guests in wheelchairs also have room to do their own cooking. In fact, the whole house, and not just the kitchen, is suitable for guests in wheelchairs. This well-planned concept continues through into the bedroom and two bathrooms which have wide doors and generously sized showers. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans, large cupboards and bath room en-suite. The entire house has high ceilings, exposed beams and a traditional Portuguese cottage style exuding warmth and comfort with the ambience of stylish furniture and accessories. Thanks to Duo-Therm wall heaters the accommodation is suitable for holidays the whole year. Location of objectThe Quinta is in a quiet, partly agricultural, partly residential area, which is part of the nature reserve „Ria Formosa“. The recently inaugurated “Ecovia” bicycle trail, passes by the Quinta. From here you can take scenic tours along the coast. There is a wide variety of bird species in the lagoon and salt flats where you can observe flamingos and other rare birds. This is a real attraction for birdwatchers from around the world. The “Ria Formosa” is located just 400 m from the Quinta. It is particularly interesting at this point because the tidal flatlands can be easily crossed on foot at low tide. Fishing boats lie high when the tide is out and the typical Atlantic oyster beds can be reached in about 20 minutes.There are some wonderful secluded beaches between the lagoon and the open sea which extend for over 50 Kilometres. You can also take the ferry to the island of Armona from nearby Fuseta and enjoy the beach and sea there, too. Town: Portugal, Algarve, Tavira-ArroteiaThe Quinta Sol e Mar is located just 10 km from Tavira or Olhão, only 5 km drive to Fuseta and 25 km to Faro, which is the capital town of the Algarve.
