The surface area inside is approx. 74m² in total. It is furnished for to four persons. Entering the A-house gives you immediately the feeling that can fall down and recover. A pleasant atmosphere spreads around thanks to the friendly vibrancy of the house and the good taste furniture. In the ground floor 1.) the living room, with group of sofa seats, another group of two chairs, color TV(cable connection), hifi with cd player and radio 2.) the open kitchen with cosy dinette (Piet Hein Eek of chairs) is equipped with dishwasher, cerium parboiling field, baking-oven with grill, refrigerator with 3star freezing subject, coffee machine, toaster, egg digester etc. 3.) the bath with shower, lavatory, washing machine and waterboiler 4.) a separate WC 5.) the entrance area with vestiair The generous window fronts to both sides open the area outward and get nature inwards Superfast broadband internet connection (over tv cable) is available free of charge (up to 1GB Up and Download) On the first floor there are two bedrooms with double beds, armchair and cabinets OUTSIDE: Rank plantings to the way and to the neighbours offer protection from curious views. The large garden with lawns and terrace lies all day long in the sun - fortunately not everywhere simultaneous. During the high summer high oaks, maple trees and beeches donate shade. In addition there is a brise soleil over the terrace. Gardenfurniture in teak. The shed in the garden offers sufficient place for your surfboards, bicycles, etc.. A barbeque is present. Up to 2 cars (or car and trailer) can park in the entry. To the south it is connected with the island Noord-Beveland by the Zeelandbridge and Oosterscheldedam. To the north and the west it is connected by the Brouwersdam and the Grevelingendam with the island Goeree-Overflakkee and the mainland. The regionis lucky to get the most sun hours of the Netherlands and differs by this noticeably from the northern Dutch beaches.Scharendijke is a small village,so walking and cycling are the best ways to replace yourself. The small center with supermarket, three or four other stores and just as many cafés and restaurants is 5 minutes walkinig from the house. To the North Sea beach it is 15 minutes walking or 5 minutes by bicycle. (on the Brouwersdam you can park your car free of charge - even during the summer.) ' De Achthoek ' is name of the street - in English 'the octagon'. The road was set in 1972 for holiday houses. The A-house lies in the middle of the plant, the advantage of which is the fact that the situation of the house is very private (increased by the many trees and bushes around) and far enough from the road (grey strip right in the illustration), so that you do not have to fear noise disturbance. As a typical dutch town Scharendijke has its windmill, a supermarket with bakery, tobacconist and a few cafés and restaurants. It is rather idyllic and calm., an ideal starting point for those who want to practise different kinds of watersports, cycling or just enjoying the sea, beach and nature. The yachting port is reached in a one minute walk. From the house to the beach the walk over a beautiful path on the dyke along the Grevelingenmeer takes a pleasant quarter of an hour.
