Description of objectLovely new 4 bedroom property furnished to a very high standard within walking distance of the beach, bars, and restaurants. This beautiful home is ideal for families/golfers seeking fun and relaxation. It is located just 5 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beach in Sao Martinho do Porto. Guests will enjoy its easy access to all amenities and many excellent restaurants.The house shares a very large back garden with community swimming pool, B-B-Qs and tennis court. The huge living room boasts comfortable seating for 9 people, flat screen satellite TV, DVD, games, etc. as well as a large dining table (seating eight). This leads to a fully equipped kitchen which in turn opens onto a very spacious veranda with table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. With two double and two twin bedrooms (3 en-suite), the home is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. Location of objectMany airlines fly from the UK and Ireland to Lisbon including BA, Monarch, Easyjet, TAP and Aer Lingus which is just 55 minutes drive by car on the A8. Town: Portugal, Silver Coast, Sao Martinho do PortoSao Martinho do Porto is a small and beautiful Portuguese town. The sands here continue for an approximate 3 kilometers forming a shell shape around the sheltered bay that is home to São Martinho do Porto Beach. The calm sea represents the perfect conditions for both children and nautical sports such as windsurfing, sailing and canoeing.The town, which was founded by monks from the Alcobaça Monastery in the 13th century, expanded significantly throughout the course of the 20th century becoming a much sought after and appreciated summer resort. It has a series of reputable restaurants specialising in local gastronomic specialities such as steamed lobster or stuffed spider crab. The water temperature is higher than average for the Silver Coast and weather temperature is high all year round. Lowest temperature is in January (average 15 degrees). Sao Martinho is well equipped with banks, a medical centre, shops and bars, along with its fresh daily food market. The beach is a five minutes walk, and the beach at Nazare with its water sports is a 10 minute drive. There are water parks at Nazare and Peniche. Foz do Arelho - 15 minutes by car - has a fantastic beach for surfing. The championship golf resort at Praia del Rey is approximately 25 minutes by car. The medieval castled town of Obidos is a 15 minute car journey – it is still contained within its original city walls and is described in travel guides as one of the most picturesque medieval towns in Europe. Caldas da Rainha is a larger town for shopping 10 minutes by car.
