Österlen is the southeastern part of the Swedish province of Scania. The area is known for its natural beauty, agriculture, beautiful beaches and picturesque villages. Our house is situated in the middle of a cute village called Sankt Olof. The house is from 1925 and is beautifully restored, with old details maintained. It is sunny and bright and furnished in a mix of old and contemporary. To the house belongs a big garden with both sun and shade. The house also has a charming little guest house, where additional 4 people can sleep.
The house is about 150 sqm. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed for 2 persons. There is also a fully equipped kitchen with a dining place with a kitchen sofa, bathroom/toilet, double living room with a big table and chairs, a sofa and sofa table, TV (cable) and a stove. The upper floor has got 2 bedrooms. One of them has a double bed and the other 2 single beds. There is also a pentry and a TV-room.

The house is situated in the middle of the village Sankt Olof. It has got neighbours and a road in the front. The garden is about 1200 sqm and can be described as unspoiled and with it's natural beauty.

Sankt Olof is beautifully situated 15 km north west of Simrishamn. The village has got approximately 1000 inhabitants. It is named after the saint Sankt Olof and celebrates its memorial day every year on the 29th of July. The village has got a well kept church from the 12th century. A few hundred meters south of the curch there is a spring called Sankt Olof spring, where people used to come to sacrifice money to get help from the saint. The poor ones sacrificed meat and such.
There is a rail station in the middle of the village since 1901. Today it is run as a museum railroad. The museum train runs between Sankt Olof and Brösarp.
The village has got a food store where you can buy food and other necessities.
