Description of objectCasas Eva in Rodalquilar consists of 5 separate houses: Casa Poniente, Casa Levante, Casa Sur and Casa Zen, which were built in 2002. They are arranged around a small garden and lie only a few strides from the street.Casa Pequeña, built around the time the village evolved in the 1950s, lies on the town street with no facing houses. Since the building of a bypass street, the town street has been used only for local traffic. The characters of the different houses are defined individually by their location, size, room division, and furnishings (living room with kitchen, one to two bedrooms, patio, terrace, bathroom). Casa Poniente, Casa Levante and Casa Pequeña each have two twin bedrooms, Casa Sur has one. Casa Zen is studio with twinbed, a summer-kitchen is outside on the roofed terrasse. All beds are equipped with quality matresses. The use of sheets, towels, and the washing machine (twice a week) are included in the price. Location of objectRegardless how long your journey wasand whatever you have seen on other vacations or on the way here – when you reach the mountain pass and view the broad valley of Rodalquilar, which stretches out towards the sea, you can finally breathe in deeply and put time on hold. There is something special there, a peacefulness, a distance – something which cannot immediately be put into words. Only after some time can these impressions become clearly expressed as something special, something different. In Rodalquilar, nature is - with its strong winds and expansive waters – constantly in motion, where rocky cliffs on the coast or in the mountains seem to have just been torn out of the hillside. The eternal myriad of colours of the rocks and stones in the mountains and bays make it easy to imagine how volcanic eruptions once created the valley, now calmed, overgrown and covered with blossom after a rare rainfall. As if time has stopped, everything appears silent like it were possible to see silence. Rodalquilar teaches seeing and silence.
